The Salvation Army Community and Family Services, St. Catharines runs a greatly needed and very successful program in the schools of St. Catharines and Grimsby. The program is called RED CAP and it is an emotions management program working with youth on issues of anger and bullying, complimented by fun extras such as games, prizes, positive reinforcement, etc. The program runs for 7 – 8 weeks and is approximately an hour plus set up and tear down. The program has received numerous positive reviews from the schools and the parents. It is a program with incredible positive impact!
This year in July we have the great opportunity of partnering with the Boys and Girls Club in St. Catharines to offer the program to the kids enrolled in their summer program.
We are desperately seeking volunteers who would love to work with school kids!
Starting week of May 11, 2015 – Tuesdays or Thursdays (approximately 2 hours)
July and August – Boys and Girls Club, St. Catharines – Wednesdays and Thursdays – 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU!
